This program aspires to train teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language and as a Second Language, developing and deepening the knowledge and abilities required in the field. In view of the demographic expansion of Spanish speakers and the skills necessary to successfully teach the language, UBP and the University of Mauá-Brasilia offer didactic training to meet the needs of the 21st century educational institution.
 
Workload
The current Program consists of 360 lecture hours and the elaboration of a Plan of Action.
Monday – Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm and 1:30pm – 4:30pm
 
Includes

  • Theoretical and practical classes
  • Didactic material for the entire course
  • Accommodation with an Argentine host family

  • Three meals per day and laundry service (in the host family)
  • Excursions to the Hills
  • Tango and Cultural workshop (Argentine traditional cuisine, Folklore music and dances, Horse-back riding lessons, among other activities.)

    Requirements 
    Degree in Spanish Education (or the equivalent)
    Degree in Language Education (or the equivalent) with a Spanish language proficiency level
    *Applications will be evaluated by the UBP Academic Committee, who will inform applicants of the decision
     
    Course Length 
    * Dates may be adapted to meet the group needs
     
    MODE: On-campus 
    * A semi-present or distance learning mode may be accepted while students are working on their thesis, via virtual tutoring. Previously, the presentation of the Plan of Action was only possible on-campus.
     
    Working on the Thesis  
    The Plan of Action should be developed according to the guidance of the Blas Pascal University Director, whether on- or off-campus.
